  1. The Barthel Index scores of the observation group was higher than the control on the 3rd and 7th days (P < 0.05). And both groups’ Barthel Index scores were higher than the 1st day respectively (P < 0.05), values are expressed in mean ± sd. * represents the amount of change about daily living self-care ability between the seventh day and the first day of the two groups (P < 0.05)
