(a ~ b) Preoperative radiographs showed the fracture with a large anterior fragment involving the lateral column. (c ~ d) A 1/3 tubular plate was used to stabilize the anterior and posterior fragments, with the fibular fracture fixed intramedullary with a Kirschner wire.
