Lateral center–edge angle (LCEA). To determine the LCEA, the first line is drawn through the center of the femoral head perpendicular to the transverse axis of the pelvis. The center of the femoral head is defined using a concentric guide for more accurate measurement. A second line is drawn through the center of the femoral head, passing through the most superolateral point of the sourcil. The sourcil is the weight-bearing zone of the acetabulum, which is seen as osteosclerosis. The LCEA is defined as the intersection of these two lines
