Kaplan–Meier analysis showed the cumulative survival rate of DIAM implantation in surgery for 1-level lumbar disc herniation to be 99% at 1 year, 97% at 5 years, 93% at 10 years, and 92% at 15 years after surgery; the cumulative reoperation rate of DIAM implantation was 1% at 1 year, 3% at 5 years, 7% at 10 years, and 8% at 15 years after surgery
