- 28 patients which sustained a proximal tibia fracture (AO type 41-B/C) were included in our study. The patients were randomized into two groups and either received a VA-LCP® (Variable Angle Locking Compression Plate) system or a NCB-PT® (Non-Contact Bridging for Proximal Tibia) system for fracture treatment.
