For example patient 1 was assigned to Type 1 as the calculated Euclidean distance between the Type 1 and Patient 1 was smaller than the distance between the patient 1 and other Types. Four patients were excluded as the dissimilarity between these cases and the five types exceeded the Euclidian distance between the five types as shown in the shaded section of the table
