  1. Differences in muscle strength, contractile rate of force development (RFD) and rate of EMG rise (RER) for different time-intervals during hand and shoulder MVCs in workers with chronic pain and pain-free controls. A custom made dynamometer was used to measure maximal voluntary contraction strength (MVC) during isometric contractions performed for the shoulder- (external rotation) and wrist muscles (hand extension).
