Lipophilic cell tracer DiR® does not affect fibroblast proliferative capacity. Cell viability and proliferative capacity of Vybrant DiR® labeled and unlabeled CT- and DD-derived fibroblasts was compared in vitro. No significant difference was observed in viability or proliferative capacity between the labeled and unlabeled cell populations for both CT- and DD-cells at either 30 min or 24 h.
