Definition

Obesity

BMI ≥ 28 kg/m2

Hypertension

Systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and or diastolic blood pressure ≥ 90 mmHg or history of hypertension

Type 2 diabetes

Fasting blood glucose ≥ 7.0 mmol/L or HbA1c ≥ 6.5 or history of type 2 diabetes

Stroke

Pre-existing diagnosis of stroke

Hyperlipidemia

TC ≥ 6.22 mmol/L or TG ≥ 2.26 mmol/L

Sleep disorder

Insomnia ≥ 3 times per week for more than 1 month

Hyperuricemia

Fasting blood uric acid ≥ 420 umol/L or previous history of hyperuricemia

Coronary artery disease

Prior history of angina pectoris and/or myocardial infarction or ECG-confirmed coronary artery disease

Depression

D(HADS) 11 or previous diagnosis of depression

Anxiety

A(HADS) 11 or previous diagnosis of anxiety disorder

Chronic kidney disease

Blood creatinine ≥ 133umol/L or previous history of chronic kidney disease

Liver disease

Hepatic steatosis or cirrhosis or abnormal liver enzyme levels (ALT ≥ 60 U/L)

Rheumatoid arthritis

Previously diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis (excluding simple rheumatoid arthritis)
