24-year-old male with a left femoral neck fracture due to a fall from a height (A, B) antero-posterior and lateral view of the hip, displaced femoral neck fracture, cortical comminution of the medial-posterior (C, D) antero-posterior and lateral view on the first postoperative day, and using the pre-sliding technique, with a pre-sliding of approximately 10 mm, and the fracture is good reduction (E, F) antero-posterior and lateral view at 3 months postoperatively, with the fracture healed, with internal fixation in place, and with no occurrence of moderate or severe shortening of the femoral neck (G, H) antero-posterior and lateral view at 1 year and 3 months postoperatively, with no necrosis of the femoral head, and with no persistent shortening of the femoral neck
