  1. Model 1: adjusted for age and sex; Model 2: adjusted for age, sex, race, hypertension, diabetes, gout, hypotensive drugs and hypoglycemic drugs. Model 3: adjusted for variables included in Model 2 and SBP, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, ApoB, BUN, albumin, uric acid, HbA1c, ALP and total calcium. The model used in the subgroups analysis consisted of all covariates used in Model 1, 2 and 3 except for the variables that were used for stratification
  2. ApoA1 apolipoprotein A1; SBP systolic blood pressure; TC total cholesterol; LDL-C low-density lipoprotein cholesterol; HDL-C high-density lipoprotein cholesterol; ApoB apolipoprotein B; BUN blood urea nitrogen; HbA1c hemoglobin A1c; ALP alkaline phosphatase; OR odds ratio; CI confidence interval
  3. aThe OR was examined regarding lower ApoA1 as reference
