Surgical procedure of thorough debridement and filling of hydrogels after successful establishment of the animal model. The sinus tract and infected soft tissues were eliminated layer by layer and necrotic bone was removed by laminectomy rongeur (a-e). The bone marrow cavity was thoroughly cleaned (f), after which the size of the defect was measured (g). After being irrigated with hydrogen peroxide, iodophor, and sterile saline for 3 times (h-j), the corresponding materials were added and the incision was sutured (k, l)
