Animal model. a) Schematic diagram of the external coccyx device: model group (compression). The caudal vertebrae were immobilized using a custom-made external device to fix four caudal vertebrae (Co7-Co10). The hole spacing of Co8-Co9 was 11 mm, and both hole spacings of Co7-Co 8 and Co9-Co10 were 13 mm. Intervention groups (low tension traction): The hole spacing of Co8-Co9 was 12 mm, and both hole spacings of Co7-Co 8 and Co9-Co10 were 13 mm.
