Table 6 Intraoperative complications by age category. Intraoperative complications were rare in pediatric cases. Count of complications and probability of experiencing at least one- or at least two-complications during the admission. The diagnostic categories: “Deep Infection with Nonunion” and “Deep Infection Only” were aggregated as values were similar for both. (None of the patients in the diagnostic categories: Adult – Arthropathy or Pediatric – Congenital Deformity had two or more complications in our dataset.)
