The hip-knee-ankle angle (HKAA) is measured on the whole-leg weight-bearing radiograph. It is defined as the medial angle between the mechanical axis line of the femur (direct line from the center of femoral head to the top of the femoral notch) and the mechanical axis line of the tibia (line from the ankle center to the center of the tibial spines)
