The yellow arrow indicates a diffuse high signal in the OVF on the cranial side of the fractured vertebral body and a fracture of the upper endplate of the vertebral body. Panel b is a CT image of the fractured vertebral body. The red arrow indicates a fracture of the upper endplate of the L4 vertebral body. The endplate has collapsed with signs of bone sclerosis below the endplate. This is a grade 3 EDC injury as delineated in this study
