  1. Site selection was based on a world-wide open call by the AO Foundation. It was decided that sites should be included from different parts of the world. The following criteria were developed during the decision-making process:
  2. 1. A site should be able to recruit a minimum number of patients within the planned recruitment time (a minimum of 65–75 patients per year).
  3. 2. A site should make sure that patients are in follow up for a minimum time of 1 year.
  4. 3. Sites must be able to anonymize their clinical data (e.g., radiological images).
  5. 4. Sites are able to plan patient visits as per standard of care at the site.
  6. 5. Sites should agree to the administrative conditions (reimbursement, contracts) and receive approval from their local ethical committee.
  7. 6. Sites should be able to perform registry related documentation
