Determination of RANKL, M-CSF and OPG serum levels. Concentrations of RANKL, M-CSF and OPG in sera of axSpA patients (n = 27) and healthy individuals (n = 23). RANKL was found significantly lower (P = 0.016; median values: 8.5 vs. 272 pg/ml) (a) and M-CSF significantly higher (P = 0.0002; median values: 978.2 vs. 715.5 pg/ml) (b) in axSpA patients’ sera.
