Comparisons of the vertebral height ratios (VHR) of the major curve in the neuromuscular scoliosis (NS) group and the main and compensatory curves in the idiopathic scoliosis (IS) group measured at the anterior, middle, and posterior parts of the vertebral bodies. The further the value of a VHR diverges from 1.0, the greater the severity of the wedge deformity of the vertebral body in the frontal plane.
