Experimental configuration. A cadaveric lower leg specimen is subjected to a compression of a single leg standing posture. The specimen connected to the loading head, through a ball joint which does not constrain the specimen’ natural rotational reaction to the loading. Kinematic data is collected using a digitizer, while loading and displacement of the loading head, and bare foot pressure are being measured by in situ digital acquisition systems
