Role of TLR2 in HBD-2 induction in Hep G2 cells. TLR2 was blocked with Antibodies (αTLR2) and stimulated with SA afterwards. The induction of HBD-2 in immortalized liver cell culture was measured by Elisa after stimulation. Compared to sample with blocked TLR2 a significant increase can be seen for HBD-2 after stimulation with SA. * = p < 0.05 SA versus SA + αTLR2
