Overlap in Low Back Pain (LBP) definitions. The white area indicates those without LBP the past year. LBP within the past ‘Year’ includes all other definitions. LBP within the past ‘month’ includes many of the remaining definitions, but not all. ‘>30 days’ includes all ‘non-trivial’, but not all ‘seeking care’. ‘Seeking care’ for LBP within the past year can co-exist with any definition. The sizes of the areas do not indicate the proportion of individuals within each definition
