A bone cyst with pathological fracture is located in the proximal metaphysis and diaphysis of the humerus. b Fixation with flexible intramedullary nails was performed. c Three months after surgery the lesion is significantly smaller and shows sings of healing. d At 28 months the bone cyst has resolved, and the intramedullary nails are removed. e At 61-month follow-up the bone cyst is completely healed without refracture or deviation of the axis
