Cytokine mRNA expression in bone marrow derived-macrophages. Bone marrow derived-macrophages were obtained from the bone marrow cells of wild-type (n = 19) and Padi4−/− CIA mice (n = 17) 10 days after booster injection. The cells were then analyzed by real-time TaqMan RT-PCR for mRNA levels of (a) tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), b interleukin (IL)-1β, c Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), and d IL-6.
