Plasma levels of soluble E- and P-selectins correlate with lung function parameters in systemic sclerosis patients. Soluble E-selectin (log ng/mL) correlated with (a) carbon monoxide diffusing capacity in percent of predicted values (DLCO %) (r = -0.21; p = 0.03) and (b) forced vital capacity in percent of predicted values (FVC %) (r = -0.25; p = 0.007).
