  1. To evaluate the measuring parameters of the MSME and SGE sequences, the three different voxel sizes were always tested. TR = repetition time; TE = time echo; FA = flip angle; NEX = number of excitations. Voxel size and NEX were altered depending on image quality of the MRI scan, always starting with voxel size of 200 μm edge length and NEX = 10. Parameters in bold show the best fitting image sequence.
