The predicted probability of sick leave during 6 months was determined by P = 1/[1+ exp - (-1.72 + 0.53 Ɨ sick leave 0ā€“1 week + 0.77 Ɨ sick leave >1 week + 0.50 Ɨ shoulder pain (4ā€“6 points) + 0.65 Ɨ shoulder pain (7ā€“10 points) + 0.68 Ɨ overuse due to usual activities + 1.38 Ɨ concomitant psychological problems)]. Instruction If a predictor is scored positively, the given weight needs to be filled in. Subsequently the scores are added to calculate the 'Total score'. Using the table next to the score chart the risk (%) of sick leave for an individual patient can be determined based on his/her total score.
