The 1 week values were significantly less than 0 time controls for all three graphs (P < 0.001). Note the failure of the mRNA activity to return to pre-fracture levels in the older rats (4 and 6 week values for young exceeded older rat values at P < 0.01). The data are presented as in Figure 2.
