ACR classification criteria for hip OA[17]

Hip pain AND at least 2 of the following 3 features: erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) <20mm/hour, radiographic femoral or acetabular osteophytes, radiographic joint space narrowing

ACR clinical classification criteria for knee OA[16]

Knee pain AND at least 3 of 6 of the following features: age > 50, stiffness < 30 min, crepitus, bony tenderness, bony enlargement, no palpable warmth

ACR classification criteria for hand OA[18]

Hand pain, aching or stiffness AND 3 or 5 of the following features: hard tissue enlargement of ≥2 of 10 selected joints, hard tissue enlargement of ≥2 DIP joints, fewer than 3 swollen MCP joints, deformity of ≥1 of 10 selected joints (bilateral 2nd-3rd DIP, 2nd-3rd PIP, and 1st CMC)
